Bred 4 War

I have been in church my whole life. I have a great heritage of Jesus followers in my family. Many of my Uncles, Cousins, and Brother are pastors and evangelists. The church I grew up in was called Rolla Evangelist Center. At a young age a seed was planted in me to go out and share the Gospel of Jesus Christ! 

“Go therefore and make disciples of all the nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit,” Matthew 28:19 NKJV 

I started to learn how to play guitar and fell in love with it. Getting to sit before my King and just play to Him. I knew I was called to worship. I was not a regular guitar player. Some guitar players learn all the popular songs that are being played at that time. But not me. I would just sit around and jam. I was always trying to write my own riffs and songs. Not that I believe learning popular songs is bad, I just never developed a hunger to do that. In my heart I believe God has put a specific sound in all of us. Hillsong has their sound. Disciple has their sound. For Today has their own sound also. Don't be an imitator! Unleash the sound God has put inside of you to change this world. My outlook on worship changed when I read this verse: 

“And so it was, whenever the spirit from God was upon Saul, that David would take a harp and play it with his hand. Then Saul would become refreshed and well, and the distressing spirit would depart from him.” 

I Samuel 16:23 NKJV
